Child born with no legs gets first prosthetic legs

An eight-year-old Syrian girl whose father provided homemade prosthetics made from tubes and 🐠tuna cans has now been given her first prosthetic limbs in 🇹🇷Turkey. Born with no legs because of a rare congenital condition, Maya had been living with her father in a refugee camp after fighting forced them from their home in Aleppo province. Our view: Very inspiring that there are agencies willing and able to change children’s lives through gifting prosthetic limbs; but what really motivates these organisations to do this work? 🤔Featured photo https://www.aljazeera.com
